British Navy WWI Button Gaunt London

Here is a WWI Navy Button. I also saw them listed as Merchant Navy. This one appears to be a one piece button. Others I looked had did have the seperation showing it to be two piece. It is very worn on the back but is Gaunt London marked. The front is still in very nice condition for its age. Look at the pictures. Comes from a very old Military Button Collection. Button is coat size and measure 1".
