    Description

    Good condition original WW1 Sword Civil War US Navy Model 1850 Foot Officer’s Sword.  has original bright finish largely turned dark gray and brown patina. Good original etching on both sides, Brass hilt has nice looking patina. Grip has tight wire wrap and to the sharkskin covering.Nice Scabbard. With Civil War ?? Belt Hanger And Buckle, A classic Civil War sword for your collection.

    Hi. That is a model 1852 Navel officer's sword. The maker was significantly involved in the Army model 1902. This sword is most likely pre-WW1 not civil war as the maker was not around at that time.
    The belt and hangers if they are original to the pre-ww1 time period they are probably worth more then the sword.
