Ladies Civil War/Victorian Day Cap for Dress (white) #004

Description

This is a head covering that a lady would wear in the morning or during the day when she wanted a simple yet nice head dress.  The lady of the 1860 era always had some type of head dress at all times.  Some of these where made more fancier and they would be worn to dinner (known as the dinner cap).  There are many different styles and decorated in many different ways.
This cap is a different version simple and very nice.  This cap is pointed in the front and rounded in the back.  The cap also has self fabric streamers.  The cap is made of a white cotton fabric.  The cap is trimmed with a 2 inch gathered White lace and a white braid trim on the edges.  The streamers have white braid trim and narrow gathered white lace on the edges.
The cap is cleaned finished on the inside.
