    You are buying a Lot of Six (6) TO-3 Alumina Ceramic Insulators for Transistor Mounting. They are in mint condition being NOS (New Old Stock).
    They will fit Transistors with TO-3 package like 2N3055, 2N3773, KD503, KU608, MA7805, MA7805, MA7812, UA7805CK, UA7812CK and etc. They are made from 96% purity Aluminum Oxide (Al

    O
    3
    ) which of course is Alumina. Generally the balance of composition for this purity Alumina material is of Silicon Dioxide (SiO
    2
    ) which is Silica.
    This material has very high hardness, very high stiffness, very good corrosion resistance to chemicals at high temperature, and very high refractoriness or use temperature. They may be used for a variety of electrical, mechanical, and thermal applications. They may also be used for jewelry or for applications requiring high wear or abrasion resistance.
