This is PRE WWI US OFFICER PRESENTATION
CAVALRY
SWORD.
Sword
used but in good condition.
Sword
length without scabbard 40 inch or 102 cm. Blade length 34 inch or 87 cm.
Sword has metal guard.
The blade has mark: " HORSTMANN PHILADELPHIA". O
n the other side there is : " GERMANY".

oth sides of the blade  are decorated with engraving of American military history
including letters: F.T.P.C.C - its First Troop Philadelphia City Cavalry

t the top of the blade inscription: IRON . PROOF.
( see picture). Sword has original scabbard.
Very important addition: the blade is long, wide, strong and sharp, can be effectively used in real battle.
