This is an affordable commemorative postcard of a baseball great with brief biographical information penned by nationally renowned author and sports commentator Bert Randolph Sugar. Each of these great cards pictures the game when it was still young, the T206 Wagner was scarcely known to exist, and Base Ball (two words) was America's National Pastime. Issued in 1978 by Dover Publications, at more than three decades old, it is becoming a vintage collectible in its own right!
