WWI BRITISH P14 ENFIELD BAYO W/ SCABBARD & FROG-REMINGTON 1917

Description

Good condition original WWI British P14 Enfield bayonet that is maker marked “REMINGTON” on the left ricasso and dated “4 17” for April 1917. Right ricasso has British proof marks. Bayonet finish is worn to bright-gray. Blade edge has a few nicks and dings. Wood grips show some wear and handling marks, lock button functions fine. Fitted in correct original leather scabbard that has steel throat and tip. Leather is soft and supple with some normal wear, stitching and staples are tight. Also complete with a reproduction WWI British Pattern 1914 style leather frog that is in excellent soft and supple condition with tight stitching and rivets. A good example for your collection.
