These Riger reproductions were in The Equitable Life Assurance Society ad campaign in the 1960s. Great for framing. For those of you younger baseball fans, here is some info about one of baseball's greatest lefties to have ever pitched. He is 'Lefty' Grove who during his HOF caliber career pitched (lefty) for the Philadelphia Athletics from 1925-1933 and for the Boston Red Sox from 1934-1941. 1925 was his only losing season when he went 10-13. His career stats are W-L record of 300-141, ERA 3.06 and 2,266 SOs. He was a 6 time All-Star, American League MVP in 1931, 2 time triple crown winner and led the league in SOs 7times.
